Trader Talks QnA
What got you interested in trading?
I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do long-term for the future, and I was looking into retirement. I didn’t have any retirement accounts, and I realized that I needed to put money into a 401k. I started looking into the stock market and realized that it was a way to make more than 10% a year.
How did you come up with the idea of tracking data?
I wanted to find a way to make at least 1% a day. I realized that if I could make 1% a day over 250 trading days, that’s 250%. I started collecting data on small micro-cap stocks and realized that I could take longer swing-style trades to the short side.
What separates you from other traders?
I spend more time out of the trade than I do in the trade. I wake up at 7:00, trade from 7:30 to 9:30, and then I’m done. I spend the rest of the time reviewing data and analyzing it.
